My name’s Ish. I go by RN ISMO as a producer, and I run ISMOS — a Detroit-based minimal tech label I launched in late 2024.
I didn’t grow up on house music. A few years ago I was blasting big room tracks and couldn’t stand the genre.
But something about being in Detroit — the city that literally birthed dance music — cracked me open. I started going to the underground parties.
